Inventing to freedom?

Humanure handbook, download for only $10

with one comment

Tiny House Talk has a post up about composting toilets. A number of times when composting toilets come up I have noticed that people have not apparently read the humanure handbook. Of course it is not the original compost toilet or anything, composting toilets have been around forever, but the term humanure was coined by the author, and he invented the sawdust toilet, a particularly effective and elegant approach.

It’s available for instant download here for only $10. You can also get it for free but of course the guy deserves the dough so I won’t go into that… though you could get it for free and then pay him after you see that it is a good book.

I previously posted after reading the book, here and about a dehydrate-pasteurize toilet that could be used with the humanure approach with a much smaller compost pile and very low risk of disease transmission here.
